Sync All Your Bookmarks

Most of us have trouble remembering  bookmarks,passwords etc... So this post is about syncing your bookmarks,passwords,cookies etc.. in various browsers

Syncing Bookmarks In Google Chrome

1. Click on the settings icon present in the top-right screen of chrome
2. Select Options
3. Then select Personal Stuff
4. Click on Sign Into Chrome
5. On the box that opens type in your gmail Username and Password
6. Click Sign In
7. On the conformation box click OK,sync everything

You have now succesfully Synced your google chrome data's. So if your system is formatted install chrome and setup sync you will see all your browser data.

Syncing Bookmarks In Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Option from the mozilla button present on the top-left corner of browser
2. On the box which opens select Setup Firefox Sync under the Sync tab
3. Click on Create a New Account
4. Type in the username,password and click Next
5. Save the Recovery Key and click Next
6. Type the Captcha code on the next page
7. Click Finish
8. Then close the option box by clicking OK

You have now succesfully Synced your Mozilla Firefox data's. So if your system is formatted install Mozilla Firefox and setup sync you will see all your browser data.

Syncing Bookmarks In Opera Mini (Mobile)

Open Opera Mini or Opera Mobile 

1. Click on Options
2. Select Settings
3. On the settings screen select Opera Link
4. In the next screen type Username,password and mail id
5. Now, it will began to Syncronise your data
6. Finally it shows a screen that Your Browser Data Has Been Syncronised

You have now succesfully Synced your Opera Mini's bookmarks and quick dials. So if you lost your bookmarks then you can setup sync in the new opera to get back your old bookmarks.


Note : If you want to get the mobile bookmarks in opera on your pc, you can sign in to opera unite with the above username and password.

This is a simple trick to show your name or any other text in the taskbar near the time.It just changes the AM and PM to the required text.

Open Control panel from start menu and select Date,Time,Language and Regional Option

Save and Restore Dial-Up Connections

Locate the Rasphone.pbk file in the %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk folder.

Note The Application Data folder is a hidden folder. To view the folder, follow these steps:
Open the All Users folder, and then click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
Click View, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
After you have created all your connections, copy the Rasphone.pbk to a safe location, and then copy the Rasphone.pbk file to the %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Connections\Pbk folder on the other computer.

Note When you replace the Rasphone.pbk file, you are prompted to confirm the file replacement. Click Yes to replace the file.
Restart the computer to view the connections.
You cannot use this procedure to copy Connection Manager profiles. These profiles have their own .pbk, .cms, and .cmp configuration files.

Reset windows7 password without knowing current password (Method 2)

If you love to be work on Command Line then this method is for you.

◘Open command prompt by typing with administrative privileges .( Type CMD in start, right click on it and select Run as Administrative )

◘In the CMD window type the following command and hit Enter
net user Account Name Your New Password

◘In this command replace Account Name by the account name (Account Name is case sensitive) whose password you want to change and replace Your New Password by the password that you want to set.

◘Now if everything goes alright you will see “The command completed successfully” on your screen, now type exit command and hit Enter

◘This will reset your current windows password.

Reset windows7 password without knowing current password (Method 1)

◘Go to Control Panel and click on the Administrative Tools.

◘Under this section double click on Computer Management.

◘Select System Tools from right window pane.

◘Under this, just double click on Local Users and Groups and then on Users
Now you will see all the login accounts of your computer. Right click on any the account whose password you want to change and then click on Set Password.

◘A warning message will popup on your screen just click on Proceed button.

◘Now enter your New Password and click on OK button.

◘That’s it! your windows 7 password is changed without knowing current password. The only limitation of this method is that your current account should have Administrative privileges.
